We had a productive morning at the Queensland Major Contractors Association (QMCA) breakfast. It was a
opportunity to connect with industry leaders and learn about the latest trends and innovations in the water sector.
Virginia had the pleasure of sharing a table with Steve Mills and Brendan Muldoon from VSL International Ltd, who discussed their exciting technical projects. It was also insightful to hear Dr Nicole Davis's presentation on the Redlands water supply. As a local resident, Virginia was particularly interested in understanding the challenges and opportunities facing the region's water resources.
A highlight of the event was Purdey's valuable advice on community engagement. His emphasis on early involvement and multi-layered communication is essential for successful projects.
