Mark’s recruitment career has spanned over two decades predominantly working within Project Management, Construction and Engineering. Mark is a father to four teenage daughters, so it’s fair to say life on the home front is hectic. Aside from the ladies of his life, sport is his passion having competed at representative level in Rugby Union as well as fighting in the Queensland and Australian mixed martial arts titles.

Jana is a true all-round Human Resources professional with over two decades of experience and a thorough understanding and capability across all facets of the craft. As a generalist, her experience includes setting up and managing the whole HR function on major construction projects, within professional services firms and in call centres with over a thousand of staff. Jana is adept at assessing workplace staff, operations and HR activities to allow her to make appropriate recommendations for HR systems and initiatives. She is adaptable and shifts with the requirements of a business, content to roll up her sleeves and personally oversee recruitment drives, performance management, office closures and redundancies, you name it Jana has managed it.
Jana is passionate about people and balancing their needs and wellbeing with the goals of a business to ensure positive outcomes for all. She is accustomed to calmly delivering best practice solutions in intense, high pressure environments often while others lose their cool. This attribute allows her to add tremendous value when it comes to conflict resolution and mediation as she is proficient at managing sensitive topics with diplomacy and empathy. Jana’s well-established commercial acumen allows her to overcome problems that arise by pragmatically finding solutions and seeing them through to implementation.
Jana is a loving mum to two adult daughters and is really into sport (like really), especially AFL. When she gets the chance, she loves to cook, read or spend time with family and friends. It’s a pretty happy existence! Some might say her only downfall is that she is a mad Richmond supporter – mad was her word not ours. But now they are winning all the time she doesn’t seem so mad after all…

We like to joke that Sharon has forgotten more about recruitment, than many of us will ever learn.
With extensive end to end recruitment experience working across a myriad of industry sectors including Mining, Engineering, Minerals Processing and Construction, the breadth and depth of Sharon’s recruitment and HR experience means she has a strong grasp of best practice and adds exceptional value for clients and candidates.
Having worked for market leading organisations, Sharon’s experience and wisdom allow her to efficiently manage complex, challenging and sometimes confronting issues. Sharon focusses on developing respectful and honest relationships to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for all involved.
Away from the office, Sharon adores spending time with her grandson, and her puppy. In her spare time, Sharon is likely to be planning her next trip or devouring a book, with said puppy close by. Sharon loves dining out and sharing a bottle of wine with her partner but she isn’t a sweet tooth (i.e. don’t thank her with chocolates!).
SARAH MARTIN | OPERATIONS & RESEARCH
After a laborious, protracted and at times combative negotiation, Sarah relented and joined 4020 Consult in 2019. Her remit is to manage the business’ pursuit of operational excellence and to ensure our clients and candidates receive exceptional service. At the request of clients, Sarah readily draws on her experience to undertake detailed research assignments that map projects, candidates and opportunities.
With a strong career foundation in recruitment, Sarah succeeded in a range of internal and external roles focussed on the Engineering, Construction and IT industries. Following this, Sarah spent a decade working with the Federal Government in roles that required thorough research, in depth analysis and extensive liaison with wide ranging levels of government and community.
Away from the office, Sarah is happiest being outside with the kids, or watching some mindless TV. If she can sneak away from the family, Sarah loves a spot of gardening and is trying her best to implement sustainable practices into her home.
